Dashiell & Everly

These adorable photos are from our day of mini-shoots back in November. My friend's son and Everly are just too cute, we had to do a little shoot of just them. (in addition to family pictures)
By the way, the last two were only possible with the help of peanut M&Ms. Behold the power of chocolate.
Happy President's day!

Naval Academy Wedding

We flew to Maryland at the beginning of November to see our dear friends get married. We were thrilled to be able to be there for their special day. Everly even got a new fancy dress for the occasion. Scott was a groomsman so he was all done up in his dress whites, looking so very handsome. I so wish we could have gotten a family picture outside the church before the ceremony, but I am very happy I got these shots of our girl and her daddy.

These pictures were taken after I thought it would be a good idea to actually go in and watch the ceremony. As soon as the beautiful bride reached her groom and the music stopped, Everly started shrieking. A lovely new talent she had been working on recently. Needless to say I bolted, grabbed all my stuff and attempted to hustle out of the cathedral. This was the moment I had wished I had wore flats and not 4 inch heels. Anyways, these shots above are of our Everly and I hanging outside while the wedding was happening. She strolled around and ate a croissant. My lovely little french 1 year old, oh how I adore her. She just wants to roam and explore, so that's what we did.
And we finally got a picture as a family at the reception....

Tons of love and best wishes to the Newlyweds!!! We miss you and hope to see you two soon.

Bradley & Dashiell drumming pumpkins.

It started to feel like fall here in southern California for 2 days in October. So we all planned a fun fall day at the pumpkin patch. Well, the weather changed and we ended up choosing pumpkins and eating shaved ice to stay cool in the 96 degree weather. Afterwards we all headed to our house to share a fall meal complete with homemade apple pie, with the AC on of course.
side note- Scott was home for less than 24 hours for a visit so we were lucky enough to share this fun day with him!

Everly wants to run full speed in to the ocean. It is amazing how unafraid this little one is.

Changed in to her bathing suit and party crown.

Planning Everly's birthday party was so much fun. We chose a navy blue and white color scheme based on this bathing suit that she wore all summer. We had it at the beach on a perfect day, 80 degrees on the sand! We served a simple menu of delicious pizza (we had delivered!) along with some yummy salads and chocolate cake for dessert. We had lemonade, water, and citrus San Pellegrinos for everyone to enjoy.
Next up, party time! Pictures of guests and of course, her first taste of chocolate cake.
