I took these photos a year ago! Shocking, I know.
I can't believe Blakeley will be a year old next month, rock on baby girl!
For now please enjoy viewing her parents, back when they had sleep.

happy baby girl! |
These photographs already seem outdated to me since I rearrange and mix things up on a daily basis, but you get the idea. Her room only has the one window (good for sleeping, bad for photography and natural light) so the light you see here is mostly from recessed lighting.

Baby Everly's nursery inspiration
Deciding on what your baby's nursery is going to look like is a bit overwhelming. First off, there are so many designs and color schemes out there that you could spend your entire 40 weeks looking through them and never actually decorate your little ones room! So when I started looking at designs for our baby girl's room I decided to go with things that I loved instead of one very specific theme or direction. (inspired by my friend Monique and her adorable son's room) I also wanted pieces that she could keep throughout her childhood, that didn't scream baby, that way the room doesn't have to dramatically change with every stage. So here is a little sneak peek at the pieces that we were inspired by for her room.
Next up, pictures of her cool digs!
Sources clockwise from top left: abc letters, whale mobile, bunny lamp (was from Anthropologie but is no longer available), pink bedding, grey dresser (was from Ikea and is no longer available), animal rug, white jenny lind crib, colorful banner (no longer available but these are similar ones).

mom love.
It's been so long since I have gotten to blog so it seems fitting (given the reason) to start with a post about mommyhood. I wanted to share some sweet photographs of mom's and their kids that I have taken in the past year. Some candid, some posed, all filled with love, support, and kindness. Happy early Mother's day to all the moms, mother-in-laws, grandmas, and great grandmas. We love you and appreciate all you do!
and here is our little baby E taking a nap on her Great Mimi (Great Grandma), happy as can be!
