One of my favorite things about having the amazing iphone is the fun array of photography apps out there. I love old film cameras and they offer these great old camera filters to make your digital picture look analog. My newest purchase is the Hipstamatic app; it transforms your phone into a vintage film camera and makes every shot look like a color saturated party. :) here are some examples:
caramelized pears we had for dessert last night.
These are just the first couple of shots I took to show Scott how the app works. Many more color-filled shots are on the way!
Happy Friday!
Winter in Virginia is pretty bleak, we don't have the beautiful blanket of pristine white snow to cover the lack of nature. But yesterday I saw flower buds on a tree and got all excited! I know it's still far off but spring will come, and when it does, it shows up in every color imaginable. Here are some photographs I took last spring at the Harrisonburg arboretum and they remind me of what is to come.
i realize its not cold everywhere (southern calif) but here in Virginia and for most of the country it's been pretty chilly. so here is some cuteness to brighten your day. this is baby Reese, she is six months old and full of adorable faces and had quite the audience to show them off too when we did this shoot. i was so excited to photograph this family outside and we got rained out; so we had to make the best of it inside. enjoy and happy new year!
p.s. sorry for the lack of posts (kimi), i have been working on my website!
today is my birthday and I have decided to be super happy about it. Over the last couple of years I have dreaded this day, like it somehow mattered what age I actually am. But now I am going to be really happy about it, much more in tune with how I feel about my friends and families' birthdays. It is so wonderful celebrating the people you love and telling them how great they are, so today I will celebrate and feel the love, it's about time.
these polariods were taken on my birthday in 2006, we had a smashing good time at cobras and matadors in los angeles.
